We are a small business ourselves. We understand our customers because we are our customers. Because of that we can…provide them with the best service.Justin Leto, Inside South Florida

Idea Financial CEO Justin Leto and President Larry Bassuk recently appeared on Inside South Florida for what proved to be forward-thinking, optimistic, and heartfelt segment on the small business comeback stories Idea is playing a major role in right now across the country—and how the tribulations of COVID evolved the business and deepened the relationships with their clients.

“Our mission has shifted,” Leto said. “Before COVID it was really to provide the best product and best service. But since then, it’s really to provide the best experience [in addition to] having the best product and service. When we went through this pandemic Larry and I personally took the time to speak with hundreds of small business owners.

“As a result, we got to know these people. We got to know what they need, what they desire for the future, how they [planned] to build their companies back. With that knowledge and with that connection now we feel it’s our obligation to keep that connection and keep it strong so we can really understand and shift with the needs of our customers and these needs of small businesses in America.”

“Really, in short, our mission is for our customers to prosper,” Bassuk added. “Everybody here on our team—we’re almost fifty people now—they know that’s our mission. And everybody here genuinely cares out our customers.”
